Head of Property, Projects and Facilities Management

About the role

This senior position leads the strategic planning, execution and governance of all property, construction, store design and facilities activities for 7‑Eleven Singapore. The role reports to senior leadership and is responsible for aligning real‑estate initiatives with the company’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for construction, store design and property management in line with corporate goals.
• Lead long‑term planning and execution of new store openings, remodels and closures, managing budgets, timelines and risk mitigation.
• Oversee the construction team, ensuring projects meet budget, schedule, quality and safety standards.
• Drive the strategic vision for store design, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and supervising designers.
• Manage property acquisition, lease negotiations, compliance with zoning and environmental regulations, and maintain an up‑to‑date property portfolio.
• Set the facilities management strategy for stores, offices and distribution centres, overseeing outsourced FM partners and ensuring resilience, business continuity and cost efficiency.
• Foster strong relationships with external vendors, regulatory bodies and landlords.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in property, construction and facilities management, preferably within a retail environment.
• Proven leadership ability to mentor and develop high‑performing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing senior management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets, negotiate leases and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
