Hotel Duty Manager – Full‑Time

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Duty Manager to lead the daily operations of our hotel across the island. The role involves supervising front‑office, housekeeping and other operational teams to ensure a seamless guest experience during assigned shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations during your shift, ensuring smooth coordination between departments.
• Lead and supervise front‑office, housekeeping and other operational staff.
• Handle guest feedback, complaints and service recovery promptly and professionally.
• Monitor room inventory, occupancy, arrivals and departures.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety requirements and service standards.
• Prepare daily operational reports and maintain accurate shift documentation.
• Manage manpower deployment and respond to operational challenges.
• Coordinate emergency situations with relevant authorities.
• Coach and develop team members to improve service performance.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in hotel operations.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience in hospitality.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (e.g., Cloudbeds, Opera).
