Hotel Engineering Technician

About the role

The Engineering department of Pullman Singapore Orchard is looking for a Technician to ensure the property’s mechanical and electrical systems operate smoothly. You will support daily operations, perform preventive and breakdown maintenance, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on all M&E services and building works.
• Conduct regular plant checks and ensure safety, housekeeping, and operational standards are met.
• Assist energy‑conservation initiatives and participate in fire‑fighting and safety exercises.
• Maintain electrical systems, motors, and installations.
• Service plumbing, water supply, sewage, and fire‑protection systems.
• Maintain boilers, heaters, and heating installations.
• Service ventilation, air‑conditioning units, fans, filters, and related controls.
• Maintain refrigeration equipment, chillers, freezers, and ice machines.
• Perform general repairs, painting, carpentry, and minor construction tasks in guest rooms and public areas.
• Support event setups, exhibit installations, and any other duties as directed.

Required profile

• Nitec Certificate in Building Facilities Maintenance.
• Nitec Certificate in Electrical/Electronics.
• Nitec Certificate in Air‑conditioning servicing.
