Hotel Maintenance Technician

About the role

The voco Orchard Singapore hotel is looking for a dynamic Technician to join its Engineering team. You will keep the hotel’s equipment and facilities running efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction through reliable maintenance and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance on all hotel equipment and plant rooms.
• Order, monitor and manage fuels, lubricants and spare parts.
• Handle minor repairs across all departments and support new hotel extensions or property additions.
• Assist with the implementation and upkeep of the hotel’s preventative maintenance and repair‑log systems.
• Instruct colleagues on safe operation, cleaning and maintenance procedures.
• Record daily service work, costs and labour hours; report status and replacement recommendations to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, safe plant environment and adhere to OH&S policies.
• Log security incidents and accidents as required.
• Perform any ad‑hoc duties assigned by the Chief Engineer or Assistant Engineer.

Required profile

• Minimum 1‑2 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably with NTC/Nitec certification.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; hotel experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to safety and ability to follow occupational health and safety legislation.
