Housing Management Engineer (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and technically competent engineer to manage building maintenance, repairs and construction upgrading projects for residential blocks, flats and car parks. The role involves delivering quality outcomes for residents and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or collaborate with consultants and contractors on maintenance, repair, improvement and upgrading projects.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, external consultants, contractors, residents, stakeholders and authorities across the full project lifecycle.
• Investigate and resolve maintenance issues and provide technical advisory services.
• Prepare tender documentation, review proposals and identify project risks and opportunities.
• Conduct site and contract management activities, including quality, safety and housekeeping inspections.
• Perform detailed handover inspections to verify workmanship before final acceptance.
• Evaluate and recommend innovative technologies and materials for future use.
• Manage post‑construction feedback and analyse data to improve processes and service delivery.

Required profile

• Background in Civil or Structural Engineering, preferably recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Meticulous, independent, professional with a pleasant disposition.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound technical and project‑management knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to resolve on‑site challenges.
