About the role
The HR Assistant (Learning & Development) will support the planning, coordination and administration of training programmes for office staff, project teams and site personnel. You will act as a key liaison between employees, training providers and internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of learning initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in organising internal and external training sessions, handling registrations, nominations, enrolments and confirmations.
- Track attendance, collect post‑training evaluations and maintain accurate training records.
- Liaise with training providers, consultants, institutions and internal stakeholders to arrange courses.
- Update employee competency matrices, licences, certifications and training databases.
- Monitor expiry dates of mandatory certifications and coordinate renewal or recertification before they lapse.
- Ensure proper filing and retention of documents for audits, internal reviews and regulatory compliance.
- Respond to employee enquiries regarding training, certification and development opportunities.
- Perform additional HR and training‑related administrative tasks as assigned.
Required profile
- Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field (SGEP Graduate Programme supported).
- 1–2 years of experience in HR or training administration.
- Experience in a construction, engineering or project‑based environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with training documentation and compliance record‑keeping.
Required skills
- Proficiency in managing training databases and competency matrices.
- Strong organisational and coordination abilities.
- Effective communication with internal teams and external training providers.
