HR Assistant / Officer

About the role

We are seeking an HR Assistant/Officer to support our Engineering & Facilities Management operations in the eastern part of Singapore. The role involves handling employee queries, maintaining records, and managing foreign worker matters within an industrial office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in overtime calculation and respond to employee queries on leave, salary and overtime.
• Update and maintain leave and employee records in the Info‑Tech system.
• Administer foreign worker permits, coordinate document submissions with site staff, and manage dormitory arrangements.
• Support all foreign worker related matters and assist in recommending, sourcing and booking training courses for staff development.
• Provide advice to management on employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Perform any other ad‑hoc HR tasks as required.

Required profile

• Knowledge of Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower (MOM) employment law.
• Higher Nitec/Diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both local and foreign employees at all levels.
• Willingness to learn, strong teamwork orientation and good work ethics.
• Comfortable working in an industrial office environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Info‑Tech HR software.
