HR Manager – Banking Sector

About the role

The banking institution is seeking an experienced HR professional to lead the full employee lifecycle and regional reward frameworks. This senior‑level position will support business leaders across talent acquisition, performance management and organisational initiatives within a premier financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end employee lifecycle operations, including onboarding, exit management and staff engagement initiatives.
• Oversee regional reward frameworks, compensation, benefits and payroll processes.
• Guide business leaders on strategic talent acquisition, performance frameworks and organisational projects.
• Execute monthly payroll, leave administration and annual tax filings in partnership with third‑party vendors.
• Lead annual reviews and negotiate contracts for corporate insurance and external payroll vendors, ensuring compliance with financial regulatory requirements.
• Design and implement localized HR policies, corporate reporting and staff engagement programs to foster a collaborative workplace culture.

Required profile

• Recognised university degree in Human Resource Management or a related business discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive HR generalist experience, with a strong focus on compensation, benefits and payroll within the private banking sector.
• Deep knowledge of local employment laws, market practices and regulatory training requirements for financial representatives.
• Exceptional analytical capability with a proven track record of managing complex data sets and budgetary calculations.
• Strong priority‑management skills and the ability to navigate ambiguous situations in a fast‑paced environment.
