HR Specialist

About the role

The HR Specialist will lead pre‑onboarding, orientation and probation processes for new hires in our Singapore manufacturing hub. You will ensure smooth integration of talent while maintaining compliance with local employment legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate pre‑onboarding activities, including documentation, system setup and logistics.
• Facilitate new‑hire orientation programmes and monitor onboarding task completion in Oracle.
• Conduct Day 30 and Day 60 HR check‑ins and track probation outcomes.
• Prepare and process work‑pass applications, renewals and related regulatory filings.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in line with company policies and legal requirements.
• Organise employee engagement initiatives, HR newsletters and recognition programmes.
• Support HR reporting, metrics, dashboards and employee data analysis.
• Ensure compliance with local employment legislation, company policies and HR procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; IHRP‑CA certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of HR operations, administration or coordination experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Singapore work‑pass administration and onboarding processes.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting and work independently or within a team.
