Human Resource Manager

About the role

A Human Resource Manager is needed in Singapore, working in the West Region. The role covers payroll and benefits, HR policies and compliance, operations and administration, recruitment and talent acquisition, and other HR functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage payroll across Singapore, Europe, the UK and Malaysia with accuracy and compliance, handle merit increments and bonus payouts, and ensure CPF and employment law compliance.
• Review and improve employee benefits to support retention and engagement.
• Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures, advise managers on employee matters such as conduct and grievances, and stay up to date on employment laws and HR trends.
• Maintain accurate employee records and oversee insurance and migrant employment processes.
• Support workforce planning and work with IT on onboarding and offboarding; identify HR solutions that support business growth and organisational development.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding and performance management, and identify workforce gaps and training needs.
• Take part in ISO initiatives, support company events and ensure safety compliance.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in marine or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, benefits, employment laws and systems.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking and high integrity.
• HR certifications such as CIPD are a plus.
