About the role
Valiram is seeking a proactive Human Resources Assistant to work closely with local retail management teams across the region. You will help align HR initiatives with business goals, nurture a positive workplace culture, and boost employee engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and execute recruitment strategies.
- Support onboarding, retention programs, and monitor employee morale.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and ensure compliance.
- Identify training needs, coordinate sessions, and assist in performance appraisal processes.
- Collect and analyse HR data, prepare regular metrics reports, and support succession planning.
- Assist with change‑management initiatives and ensure smooth transitions.
- Maintain HR policies and ensure legal compliance across the region.
Required profile
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Detail‑oriented with good organisational abilities.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Required skills
- Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes.
