Rewards Director – AMEA

About the role

The AMEA Rewards Director will lead the design and delivery of compensation, benefits, performance and recognition programmes across Asia, the Middle East and Africa for Opella, a global consumer healthcare company. Reporting to the Global Head of Rewards & Performance, the role is based in Singapore and will oversee a regional rewards team while partnering with business leaders and People & Culture functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach and develop the AMEA Rewards team (India & AMET Rewards Manager and Asia Pacific Rewards Manager).
• Shape and implement the global rewards strategy for the AMEA region, ensuring alignment with Opella’s overall objectives.
• Collaborate with the AMEA People & Culture leadership team to balance regional business needs with global policies.
• Provide expert rewards advice to the Digital, Science and Global Capability Centre functions.
• Partner with the Indian People & Culture Director and the AMEA Regional People VP to own the Indian Nomination & Remuneration Committee process.
• Work closely with the Head of Global Rewards & Performance to keep regional initiatives aligned with global strategy.
• Oversee the design and administration of benefits programmes across the region in partnership with the Global Benefits team.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in rewards, compensation or total rewards leadership within a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to lead and develop regional teams across multiple countries.
• Strong change‑management capabilities and a track record of implementing rewards programmes at scale.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly with senior business leaders and HR partners.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate global policies into regional execution.
