About the role
We are looking for a proactive, commercially‑minded HR Business Partner to drive people strategies that support business success. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will partner with leaders across Singapore and regional offices to deliver strategic and operational HR solutions throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to design and implement people initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
- Partner with managers on workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, succession planning and change management.
- Provide expert HR advice on employee matters, company policies and Singapore employment legislation.
- Lead employee‑relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances and conflict resolution.
- Drive the performance‑management cycle: goal setting, reviews, coaching and development plans.
- Support employee engagement and culture‑building activities that promote an inclusive, high‑performing workplace.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for queries on policies, compensation, benefits, payroll and employment practices.
- Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations in Singapore and assist regional offices as needed.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, probation, performance, learning, engagement and off‑boarding.
- Coordinate monthly payroll with external providers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and statutory compliance.
- Maintain compliance with local labour laws by updating HR policies, procedures and documentation.
- Administer work‑pass applications, renewals and mandatory government submissions.
- Prepare HR reports, maintain employee records and support internal/external audits.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives assigned by the Head of HR.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation; exposure to APAC HR practices is a plus.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Positive, adaptable and solutions‑focused with a genuine passion for partnering with people and the business.
