About the role
The Human Resources Manager will support the daily operations of the HR office at JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach, overseeing recruitment, compensation, and employee relations. This role ensures HR services meet employee needs, drive business success, and comply with Singapore employment laws.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in managing the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring HR team members.
- Maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and attend job fairs.
- Ensure accurate documentation and filing of employee records.
- Support administration and education of employee benefits, including handling unemployment claims.
- Coordinate new‑hire orientation and cross‑training programs to promote a positive guest‑service culture.
- Perform data reconciliation, variance analysis, and other analytical tasks related to HR metrics.
Required profile
- 5‑6 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore’s Employment Act and related regulations.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field.
- Detail‑oriented with a high level of confidentiality and data accuracy.
Required skills
- Analytical ability to perform reconciliation, variance analysis, and data checks.
