HVAC Design Engineer – Travel Required

About the role

The HVAC Design Engineer will develop and review HVAC design deliverables across Conceptual, Basic and Detailed Design phases for projects that include cleanroom and pharmaceutical environments. The role involves close collaboration with project teams and may require short overseas business trips.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare User Requirement Specifications, load calculations, air‑balance calculations and airflow diagrams.
• Create AHU zoning layouts, pressurization plans, HVAC design reports and technical specifications.
• Produce 3D models using Revit or SketchUp and generate detailed/shop drawings.
• Review and ensure compliance with FDA/cGMP, ISO 14644, IBC, IMC and ASHRAE standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support project documentation throughout all design stages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, especially for cleanroom and pharmaceutical applications.
• Willingness to travel for short business trips (3–6 months).

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and CFD tools.
• Experience in load calculation, air‑balance calculation and 3D modelling.
• Familiarity with FDA, cGMP, ISO 14644, IBC, IMC and ASHRAE standards.
• Competence in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
