HVAC Mechanical Engineer – Fresh Graduates Welcome

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Mechanical Engineer to join its team. This position is open to fresh graduates and offers the chance to work on thermal‑management projects for data centres, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with the Sales team to coordinate HVAC equipment selection and ordering.
• Re‑select HVAC equipment based on customer requirements and place orders with the factory after design approval.
• Update and follow up on customer change orders, ensuring consultant and client comments are addressed.
• Coordinate with factories, forwarders, customers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery of equipment to site.
• Resolve technical issues onsite with customers.
• Maintain project documentation, including certifications, drawings, and financial records.
• Prepare revenue and billing forecasts.
• Monitor working practices, manage contractors, and report non‑compliance.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate on‑site activities as needed.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related certification.
• 1–2 years of engineering experience with strong exposure to HVAC systems.
• Good understanding of HVAC equipment, system operation, and SAP.
• Experience in 2D/3D modelling of HVAC equipment, piping, ducting, and chiller‑plant layouts.
• Drafting experience with AutoCAD, Revit or Navisworks is advantageous.
