ICU Registered Staff Nurse – Critical Care

About the role

Raffles Medical Group is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Staff Nurse to join its flagship Raffles Hospital. You will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care in a fast‑paced intensive care environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic and complex nursing procedures, including patient assessment, IV cannulation, venepuncture, medication administration, and ECG monitoring.
• Provide clinical leadership to junior nurses, ensuring adherence to infection‑control standards and safe patient care.
• Utilise critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to develop and implement care plans, and assist in policy development.
• Support emergency interventions such as cardio‑pulmonary resuscitation and blood culture sampling.
• Educate patients and families, coordinate rehabilitation and discharge planning, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist specialists during treatments, procedures, and examinations, and promptly report any changes in patient condition.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid licence from the Singapore Nursing Board.
• Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing from an accredited institution; Advanced Diploma in Critical Care preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of direct ICU experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
