Inbound and Inventory Operations Lead

About the role

The Inbound and Inventory Operations Lead is a key contributor to the warehousing and distribution activities of Johnson & Johnson's Regional Distribution Centre in Singapore. The role oversees inbound movement, inventory management, 3PL relationships, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all inbound activities, including transportation to the DC, master data maintenance, inspection, goods receipt, returns and claims.
• Coordinate with third‑party logistics providers to ensure smooth handling and receiving of stock from source to warehouse.
• Track and monitor performance metrics such as Port‑to‑Dock, Perfect Receipt, Dock‑to‑Stock, on‑time returns and inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with Quality and warehousing teams to reduce waste from damaged products.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects aimed at cost efficiency in inbound operations.
• Work with Regulatory Affairs & Governance to ensure accurate regulatory reporting of incoming stock.
• Oversee inventory control procedures, including cycle counts, audit counts and adjustments, and reconcile inventory to maintain real‑time visibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading inbound and inventory operations within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong ability to manage 3PL relationships and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
• Demonstrated track record of driving continuous‑improvement initiatives and cost‑management projects.
• Leadership skills to guide cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders.
