Indirect Regional Supplier Manager

About the role

Micron Technology, Inc., a global leader in memory and storage solutions, is hiring an Indirect Regional Supplier Manager. The role leads site supplier performance and relationships, owns the procurement process for designated areas and accounts, and supports global procurement strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site supplier performance and relationships, integrating AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality or effectiveness, in line with organizational standards and legal requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying, testing and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within your scope of work.
• Negotiate with suppliers to meet business needs.
• Own the procurement process for designated areas and accounts.
• Support capital budgeting and cash flow management, and the execution of Global Procurement strategies.
• Handle cost-saving initiatives and metrics, implement cost savings and process improvement programs, and act as a consultant on procurement processes and supplier issues.
• Support site audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, business or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 0 to 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, engineering or project management.
