Indirect Tax Specialist

About the role

Wise is looking for a motivated Indirect Tax Specialist to join its global Tax team. You will work with finance and accounting partners across the APAC region to ensure accurate indirect tax compliance and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file indirect tax returns for Singapore, Australia and other APAC jurisdictions, as well as occasional global returns.
• Document processes, maintain controls, reconcile returns to financial data and manage risk.
• Own the end‑to‑end reporting process for APAC indirect tax, coordinating with external advisors.
• Support the broader tax team with technical research, process improvements and new‑geography onboarding.
• Collaborate with accounting, financial controllers and regional tax teams to reflect tax impacts in financial statements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of indirect tax experience, either in a Big 4 firm or in‑house.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage cross‑functional projects.
