Information Security Internship – Service Ticket Management

About the role

Join Marriott International’s APEC Global Information Security team in Singapore as an intern. You will support the security operations function by managing service tickets, tracking progress, and ensuring timely communication across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day management of service tickets in ServiceNow or similar platforms, tracking status, due dates, updates and closure.
• Review ticket details, identify missing information, and support validation and follow‑up activities.
• Monitor incoming tickets and alerts, perform basic validation (e.g., duplicates, missing data) and escalate high‑priority items as instructed.
• Maintain simple tracking logs and reports to provide visibility of work progress, pending actions and overdue items.
• Support regular follow‑ups with IT and support teams to ensure timely ticket updates and resolutions.
• Monitor dashboards to highlight delays, aging tickets or bottlenecks for review.
• Assist in keeping process documentation and operational records up to date.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy when handling tickets, data and records.
• Proactive, initiative‑driven and eager to learn.
• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program such as Information Security, Computer Science or IT.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing platforms.
