Innovation Designer – Research & Development

About the role

The Innovation Designer will create and launch new beauty experiences across physical and digital platforms for P&G’s Beauty Care portfolio. Working in the Singapore Innovation Design Studio, you will collaborate with industrial, digital, and CMF designers to turn consumer insights into market‑ready products.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and develop innovative product and packaging ideas for brands such as Olay®, Pantene®, Safeguard® and Head & Shoulders®.
• Translate deep consumer trends into robust design solutions that meet business objectives.
• Produce high‑quality visualisations, 3D models and rapid prototypes from concept to launch.
• Manage multiple end‑to‑end projects, setting strategy and ensuring best‑in‑class execution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners, influencing and enrolling stakeholders throughout the development process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in 3D product design, development and digital innovation.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both strategic thinking and execution in innovation design.
• Ability to communicate ideas quickly through storytelling and sketching.
• Self‑directed, proactive and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• 2D visualisation tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
• 3D CAD software: Rhino, KeyShot.
• Rapid prototyping techniques: 3D printing, hand‑model making.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and CMF techniques: blow molding, injection molding, plastic and glass fabrication.
• Experience with GenAI‑enabled ideation.
