Innovation Senior Assistant Manager / Assistant Manager, Centre for Innovation in Healthcare

About the role

The Innovation Senior Assistant Manager / Assistant Manager supports the Centre for Innovation in Healthcare (CIH) in managing innovative healthcare projects and driving the clinical adoption of NUHS Practice Changing Innovations (PCI) across the NUHS ecosystem and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Support the flagship NUHS PCI programme in deploying innovations that transform care delivery and improve population health, and project-manage selected innovations so they reach NUHS hospitals, clinics and the healthcare community.
• Ensure project milestones are met for PCIs and innovations under your charge, and coordinate and submit PCI progress reports on time.
• Serve as a member of the PCI secretariat, supporting the organization and conduct of annual PCI Advisory Board meetings and updates.
• Work with the CIH team to manage external and internal innovators, and collaborate with CIH Clinical Research Coordinators on end-to-end project and clinical trial management.
• Cultivate relationships with clinical champions and PCI teams, and help forge new partnerships with CIH ecosystem partners through CIH events and new initiatives.
• Guide students, clinicians and staff interested in innovation, and assist in organizing events, social media platforms and ad-hoc projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent; other qualifications in Business or Entrepreneurship preferred.
• At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in healthcare innovation, project management or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems and innovation processes.
• Experience in stakeholder management and partnership development.

Required skills

• Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with clinical research processes and health technology assessment is a plus.
• Proficiency in IT systems and MS Office applications.
