Inplant Assistant – Customer Support & Order Management

About the role

The Inplant Assistant supports the sales and operations teams by handling customer inquiries, expediting critical orders, and ensuring accurate order processing. This role combines customer service with order administration to maintain smooth workflow and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quotes, track orders, and process backlogs.
• Handle invoicing, returns, and discrepancy resolution.
• Address customer credit issues and provide sales support.
• Expedite urgent orders, respond to stock queries, and manage stock rotation.
• Generate reports related to order status and inventory.
• Maintain and update electronic and hard‑copy records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and monitor key performance metrics.
• Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring timely and accurate service.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer, email, phone, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluency in more than one language may be required.
