Interior Designer – Residential Projects

About the role

We are a renovation main contractor with an in‑house carpentry team, focusing on residential projects ranging from $30,000 to $100,000. We are seeking a creative and practical Interior Designer who enjoys both the design process and real‑world execution.

Key responsibilities

• Meet homeowners to understand lifestyle needs, budget, and design preferences.
• Develop concept designs, space planning, mood boards, and material selections.
• Prepare design proposals, 3D visuals, and basic drawings.
• Collaborate closely with the in‑house carpentry and project teams to ensure designs are buildable.
• Support sales presentations and client discussions when required.
• Manage design revisions and guide clients through decision‑making.
• Assist with site coordination to maintain design intent throughout construction.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in residential interior design, preferably in the Singapore market.
• Strong sense of space planning, materials, and detailing.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort dealing directly with homeowners.
• Practical mindset with awareness of budgets, carpentry constraints, and site realities.
• Self‑motivated, responsible, and able to manage multiple projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SketchUp.
• Proficiency in 3Ds Max.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools.
