Interior Fit-out Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interior Fit-out Project Manager to lead commercial and institutional interior projects from concept through handover. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage interior fit‑out projects from planning to completion and handover.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, architects, contractors, and suppliers.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Manage procurement activities, including material sourcing and subcontractor engagement.
• Monitor progress, implement corrective actions, and manage risks.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Oversee site teams, conduct inspections, and lead progress meetings.
• Prepare and present progress, cost, and status reports.
• Administer contract variations, claims, and documentation.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, defect rectification, and final handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or related field.
• 5–8 years of project management experience in interior fit‑out, renovation or construction.
• Proven experience delivering commercial office, retail, hospitality, residential or institutional fit‑out projects.
• Strong knowledge of interior construction methods, finishes, joinery, M&E coordination and fit‑out processes.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with local building regulations, workplace safety and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
