Intern - ATE PTO (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

About the role

Micron's Advanced Technology Singapore (Alpha Technology Engineering) is looking for an intern for its Fab 10 metallization conversion and M77R new product introduction program. The project gives hands-on exposure to semiconductor manufacturing, process integration, program planning, risk management and stakeholder coordination, working with engineering and manufacturing teams to track project readiness and prepare program-management materials. Successful interns may be considered for full-time roles.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project plans and milestone-tracking methods for the Fab 10 metallization conversion and M77R product introduction.
• Evaluate process readiness, manufacturing capability, qualification progress and key program dependencies.
• Identify project risks and build mitigation and escalation plans with stakeholders.
• Analyze engineering and manufacturing information to find opportunities for cycle-time improvement and risk reduction.
• Prepare dashboards, project reports and management-level communication materials.
• Deliverables include a project-tracking system, a risk assessment and mitigation framework, a dashboard or workflow solution, and a final presentation of outcomes and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Computer, Data Science, Project Management or a related field.
• Ability to commit to a full-time 6-month internship.
• Interest in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering and fabrication facility operations.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of semiconductor process flows and manufacturing concepts.
• Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, risk management and stakeholder coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint or comparable tools.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools for document preparation, information analysis or workflow improvement.
