Intern, Corporates Sales – Financial Markets

About the role

ING is running its 2027 WB Asia Internship Programme and is looking for students for a 6-month internship (January to June 2027) in the Financial Markets team, within the Corporate Sales function. The internship takes place in the dealing room in Singapore, where you will work alongside the Sales team and get hands-on experience in financial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Learn new products and skill sets in the dealing room, working with different internal teams
• Take part in preparing pitches and contribute to strategic projects
• Analyse data and help sales prepare for client visits and statistics reports
• Support the execution of existing sales and reporting processes, identify improvement areas and propose solutions where applicable

Required profile

• Good grades in relevant courses showing strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills
• Team player with good communication and collaborative skills
• Able to work independently on several projects at once and prioritise resources
• Brings fresh ideas and embraces challenges in a fast-changing, complex environment

Required skills

• Knowledge of financial market products (swaps, forwards, options in various asset classes) and international finance (debt capital markets, M&A) is a plus
