Intern - PIE RAM (Agentic AI)

About the role

Micron is looking for an intern in its Product Integration Engineering department, Real Time Defect Analysis and Metrology (RAM), in the North Coast, Singapore location (F10N). The project applies data analytics to evaluate and improve metrology workstation conversion in semiconductor manufacturing, with an emphasis on AI-enabled analytical tools. High-performing interns may be considered for future internship or entry-level engineering opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate metrology workstation conversion performance using data analytics approaches.
• Analyze metrology datasets to assess process performance and measurement capability.
• Investigate ways to use AI-assisted analytics to improve insight generation and decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to understand workstation conversion requirements and evaluation criteria.
• Present findings and recommendations based on the data analysis.
• Deliverables include a complete analysis of conversion performance, data-driven recommendations, documented findings and contributions to the implementation and evaluation of the conversion.

Required profile

• Pursuing Engineering or a related field of study.
• Ability to commit to a full-time internship of at least 5 months, from January to May 2027.
• Interest in semiconductor manufacturing, metrology and process engineering.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of engineering principles, statistics or data analysis concepts.
• Familiarity with data visualization and analytical tools is advantageous.
• Exposure to AI tools or AI-enabled analytical workflows is beneficial.
