About the role

Grab is Southeast Asia's leading superapp, and its Singapore Transport team oversees and grows the Singapore Mobility business (JustGrab, GrabCar, GrabCar Premium and more). The team builds strategy around demand (passengers), supply (driver-partners), pricing and marketplace, and runs product rollouts and special projects. The internship reports to the Manager, Fulfilment & Demand, and is based onsite at the One North office.

Key responsibilities

• Use strategic and analytics tools to deliver data-driven business insights and recommendations, such as customer segmentation, demand/supply strategy and channel strategy
• Analyse marketplace issues (demand, supply, pricing) to support revenue/profit growth and service health
• Work in a team to solve business-critical issues through rigorous analysis and big-picture thinking
• Collaborate with Product, Regional strategy, Partner Operations and marketing teams to implement strategic projects
• Run A/B tests to refine and choose the best projects to launch

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a university or graduate programme in Economics, Statistics, Business, Information Science, Engineering or a related field
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a willingness to learn quickly and understand root causes
• Able to work in a multidisciplinary team and propose creative solutions

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel, including complex functions
• Data analysis
• SQL (Python is a bonus)
