Internal Auditor – APAC Regulatory & Financial Operations

About the role

Stripe is building a world‑class Internal Audit team to safeguard its rapid growth in the APAC region. As an Internal Auditor focused on Regulatory & Financial Operations, you will join the APAC IA team in Singapore and help design, execute and scale a risk‑based audit programme across multiple licensed entities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of a comprehensive, risk‑based internal audit strategy that aligns with emerging risks, management priorities and regional regulatory requirements.
• Perform evaluation and testing of governance frameworks, risk‑management processes, internal controls, compliance programs, financial reporting and operational procedures.
• Provide independent, objective assurance and advisory insights to senior leadership and the board on audit findings and remediation plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Singapore, India, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan to ensure consistent audit coverage.
• Monitor regulatory changes in the fintech sector and incorporate them into audit plans.

Required profile

• Significant experience in finance, operations and regulatory compliance audit, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry.
• Proven ability to build and scale audit programmes across multiple jurisdictions in the APAC region.
• Strong understanding of APAC licensing requirements and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the capacity to influence senior stakeholders.
