Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Audit Associate will support internal audit and risk management projects, following the International Professional Practices Framework of the Institute of Internal Auditors. You will work under the guidance of senior audit staff and may also contribute to IT, compliance, sustainability, and ad‑hoc audit engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in defining objectives and detailed work procedures for audit projects.
• Execute internal audit procedures and relevant testing.
• Conduct interviews, review documentation, and prepare working papers.
• Identify issues, develop recommendations, and document findings.
• Perform government‑related agreed‑upon procedure engagements.
• Support enterprise risk management and risk‑consulting assignments.
• Contribute to sustainability reporting and special audit reviews.
• Discuss key issues with process owners and management.
• Engage in continuous professional development and share knowledge with teammates.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, business management or a related field.
• Degree in accounting, business management or an equivalent discipline.
• Understanding of governance, risk management, internal control frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Self‑starter attitude, high integrity, and ability to multitask.
• Willingness to travel extensively as needed.
