International Assignment Consultant

About the role

The International Assignment Consultant (IAC) acts as the navigator for employees and their families relocating abroad, ensuring a smooth transition throughout the assignment lifecycle. Based in Singapore, the role supports clients by delivering Cartus’ relocation, cross‑cultural, language and moving services in line with corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a single point of coordination for all phases of international relocation activities on behalf of the client as defined in the contractual agreement.
• Deliver exemplary customer service to assignees and their families.
• Deliver Cartus core products and services—including consulting, cross‑cultural training, language support, and moving services—according to Cartus standards.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Cartus products and services in all client interactions.
• Compile and coordinate data from internal Cartus departments to ensure accurate and timely client reporting.
• Research country‑specific information to assist clients in developing international policies and compensation programs.
• Maintain and enhance relationships with internal departments and external suppliers/partners to meet client needs.
• Participate in special projects such as client presentations, training sessions, and trade conferences.
• Ensure compliance with Cartus corporate policies, programs, and standards.
• Promote Cartus services and identify cross‑selling opportunities to generate additional revenue.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 2‑5 years of relevant business experience in customer service, call centre, relocation, destination services, immigration, moving services, real estate, HR outsourcing (expatriate payroll), hospitality, or related international industry.
• Bilingual ability and/or expatriate experience is a plus.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior customer service orientation.
• Strong planning, organization, and detail‑oriented abilities; capable of multitasking.
• Team player with cultural sensitivity, innovation, and resourcefulness.
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
