International Growth Practice - Experienced Associate / Senior Associate

About the role

PwC's International Growth Practice, headquartered in Singapore, supports organisations in addressing their internationalisation ambitions while building rebalanced and resilient growth strategies. It works across sectors such as healthcare and pharmaceuticals, industrial manufacturing, automotive, consumer goods, telecoms, media and technology, financial services and government. The firm is looking for an experienced candidate with at least one year of experience in its target sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop expansion strategies for clients seeking international expansion or wanting to rebalance their supply chain and production footprint
• Deliver in-depth analysis and insights on market expansion strategies (market, consumer and competitor assessments, product and services analysis)
• Define market entry scenarios (channel strategies, operating model design, partner evaluation and selection)
• Support global and regional site selection for new headquarters, R&D sites and manufacturing plants
• Carry out global talent assessments and supplier portfolio realignment
• Provide strategic points of view on international growth and support client discussions and workshops with senior executives
• Engage in business development and client pursuit, and work with PwC's global network of teams
• Build an international network of external stakeholders and take part in regional and international conferences and client events

Required profile

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the target sectors, in management consulting or in industry strategy or general management roles
• International working experience in key global markets (e.g. US, UK, China, Japan, Germany, Southeast Asia)
• Experience delivering client consulting projects with multiple stakeholders and teams across countries
• Ability to manage data collection and analysis, turning quantitative and qualitative data into insights on country, sector and consumer trends
• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to develop insightful presentations for proposals and client discussions
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and in a multi-cultural, diverse global team
