International PhD & Postdoctoral Scholarship – NBSIPS 2023

About the role

The Nanyang Business School International PhD Scholarship (IPS) and Postdoctoral Fellowship (IPF) 2023 offers Singapore citizens a funded pathway to pursue doctoral or postdoctoral studies abroad while being employed by NTU. Successful candidates receive paid leave for their overseas programme and, upon completion, are appointed as tenure‑track Assistant Professors.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake a PhD or postdoctoral research programme at an approved overseas university.
• Maintain regular communication with NBS mentors and university panels during the study period.
• Fulfil service obligations to NTU, including research collaborations and teaching duties after appointment.

Required profile

• Singapore citizenship.
• First Class Honours Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business, Social Sciences, Mathematics or Engineering.
• Strong academic record and clear research interests aligned with NBS.
