Inventory & Costing Executive / Cost Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a senior Inventory & Costing Executive to join our dairy manufacturing operations in Tuas. The role focuses on accurate inventory management, cost analysis, and supporting the supply chain through close collaboration with R&D and the export team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile inventory across all storage locations.
• Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain inventory control procedures to minimise discrepancies and losses.
• Coordinate stock replenishment with the export team based on confirmed orders and forecasts.
• Understand product formulations to determine material needs and support purchasing decisions.
• Prepare and update stock summary reports, including current stock, incoming goods, and future demand.
• Work closely with R&D to translate new product forecasts into inventory plans.
• Identify slow‑moving or obsolete items and recommend appropriate actions.
• Provide inventory reports to aid management decision‑making.
• Handle ad‑hoc assignments and special projects as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of costing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
