Investment Banking Graduate Programme 2027

About the role

Barclays is recruiting for its Investment Banking Graduate Programme 2027 in Singapore. The programme welcomes soon-to-be graduates and offers intensive training followed by work on live deals and business development projects within coverage or product groups. The role is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on live deals, client pitches and advice to a broad range of corporate clients, delivering structured solutions.
• Work with cross-functional teams on business initiatives and take part in training and development programmes.
• Identify opportunities, develop business cases and manage the launch of new products and services.
• Manage client relationships and provide customer service support, answering questions and processing transactions under steadily decreasing supervision.
• Develop and implement financial models and strategies that support investment banking decisions.

Required profile

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree with anticipated completion between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Ideally a GPA of 3.2 or above and a keen interest in finance and business.
• Resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit, shown for example through extracurricular activities.
• Legal right to work in Singapore; applicants holding a Barclays-sponsored visa or needing sponsorship must declare this.
