Investment Specialist (Singapore)

About the role

Insight Investment is looking for an Investment Specialist to join its APAC distribution team in Singapore. The role contributes to business development in Asia by giving technical investment and product support to the BNY Investments sales teams and their clients in Asia, while also supporting the wider Insight Distribution team in APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with Insight's investment and distribution team members in the UK, US and APAC.
• Build strong relationships with and deliver excellent service to local BNY Investments sales and marketing teams.
• Contribute to the wider Insight APAC Distribution Team to grow the business.
• Develop a solid understanding of Insight's fixed income, currency, multi-asset and overlay investment process and capabilities.
• Assist with preparing marketing materials and reports to support business development in the region.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a fixed income or multi-asset product specialist at a global asset management firm.
• Strong understanding of all public market asset classes and a range of investment strategies.
• Good understanding of the asset management industry and the commercial dynamics of intermediary and institutional channels in Asia.
• Highly motivated, proactive and execution-focused, with a client-centred, commercial mindset.
