IT Applications Consultant - SAP Retail

About the role

A global travel retailer, distributor and duty-free operator is looking for an IT Applications Consultant to join its regional team in Singapore. You will support the IT Applications team and all projects related to SAP Retail initiatives across the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals, and provide consulting on new implementations and existing projects
• Lead full-cycle, large-scale, end-to-end implementation projects
• Analyse complex business process requirements and document business users' requirements
• Propose and deliver business process and system enhancements, customisations or user exits
• Write requirement analysis documents, functional and technical specifications, design documents, user manuals and test scripts
• Carry out unit, integration and regression testing, fix bugs and provide user training and support

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline
• At least eight years of practical experience in implementation and support of SAP IS Retail projects
• Seasoned project management skills with Agile methodologies; Scrum Product Owner certification is an advantage
• Ability to prioritise work, solve problems logically, mentor team members and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
