IT Business Partner - College of Engineering

About the role

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is seeking an IT Business Partner for its College of Engineering (CoE). The role works closely with leadership to coordinate, develop and guide all IT activities across the five Schools (departments within CoE) and collaborates with Central IT support. The university is open to candidates at different stages of their leadership journey and values potential, attitude and the ability to grow into the breadth of the role.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the College of Engineering IT division.
• Identify the IT needs of the College and each School and develop solutions to meet them.
• Work with the University's IT team to understand central-level needs and develop strategies that bring central IT initiatives into the College and Schools where they fit.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT, technology or related roles, with a solid practical understanding of IT environments, systems and technology solutions.
• Hands-on experience dealing with IT activities.
• Some experience managing teams and activities.
• Experience working in teams that have built IT structure and strategy.
