IT Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure / CCNA)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated IT Engineer to join a well‑established security technology company in Singapore. The role focuses on building and maintaining a modern cloud infrastructure based on VMware technologies, supporting both internal and government projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain VMware Cloud Foundation (vSAN, NSX, vCenter, SDDC Manager).
• Set up, manage and troubleshoot VMware Tanzu and Kubernetes clusters for application hosting.
• Automate resource provisioning and application deployments using Aria Automation and GitLab CI pipelines.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers, including web servers such as Tomcat, Apache and IIS.
• Monitor system performance, health and resource utilization across the VCF, Tanzu and Kubernetes environments.
• Implement security hardening baselines and conduct security testing (DAST, SAST, PT, SVS).
• Collaborate with headquarters technical teams and government CISO teams to provide operational feedback and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Higher NITEC/Diploma in IT Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA or CCNP.
• 1‑2 years of experience in cloud infrastructure deployment or related IT operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

• Competitive salary SGD 4,500‑5,500 per month plus SGD 300 allowance.
