IT Helpdesk Engineer – Singapore

About the role

The IT Helpdesk Engineer will be the first point of contact for all employee technology needs, ensuring smooth operation of desktops, laptops, printers, and network services across the Singapore office. You will work closely with the global IT team to align local infrastructure with corporate standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers, laptops, printers, and network infrastructure (LAN/Wi‑Fi/VPN).
• Provide first‑level support for Windows, Office365, and engineering software.
• Set up new user accounts, devices, and access rights according to policy.
• Monitor cybersecurity compliance and coordinate with Group IT security.
• Handle relationships with local vendors, telecom providers, and hardware suppliers.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory, and licensing of IT equipment and software.
• Act as local project coordinator for system upgrades, migrations, or office expansions.
• Support international collaboration tools such as MS Teams, SharePoint, and remote‑access solutions.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in partnership with HQ.
• Maintain documentation of systems, procedures, and asset records.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Computer/Info‑Comm Technology or related field.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on IT support experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in culturally diverse teams.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows operating system.
• Office365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Microsoft Active Directory.
• VPN configuration and troubleshooting.
• LAN/Wi‑Fi networking and printer support.
• Server administration basics.
