IT Production Support Specialist – Singapore/PR

About the role

Centific is seeking an IT Production Support Specialist to provide Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk support for its Hub Management Systems and IBM MQ infrastructure. The role is based at Changi Business Park and focuses on ensuring reliable message flow, system stability, and timely issue resolution for Singaporean and PR candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support for Hub Management Systems, Message Queues (MQ) and related interfaces.
• Perform diagnostic analysis to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage and troubleshoot message flows, including SSL/TLS, connectivity and security configurations on MQ servers.
• Assist business users with application, interface and component issues and coordinate follow‑up.
• Execute routine administrative, maintenance and technical tasks as assigned.
• Facilitate system change requests, problem‑resolution discussions and vendor coordination.
• Conduct health checks, monitoring and security patching for MQ servers.
• Maintain system documentation such as user manuals, administration guides and data flow diagrams.
• Plan, coordinate and support release and deployment activities.
• Support system compliance, disaster recovery exercises and web security scanning.
• Liaise with users and vendors for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and review vendor performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Studies or a related discipline.
• 3–4 years of experience in Java or .NET application/system support.
• Familiarity with IBM MQ configuration, queue/channel setup and monitoring.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software engineering practices.
• Structured, detail‑oriented, well‑organized with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure.
