IT Project Engineer

About the role

As an IT Project Engineer you will support the delivery and commissioning of IT infrastructure for automated material handling systems across the APAC region. You will work with an international integration team and local subcontractors to ensure reliable, secure, and future‑proof solutions for airport and parcel logistics customers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers, translating requirements into technical solutions.
• Analyse problems, ask the right questions and provide systematic troubleshooting and implementation.
• Execute installations, configurations and integrations of networking, server/client hardware and middleware according to project plans.
• Apply cyber‑security guidelines and proactive measures to minimise downtime.
• Support commissioned systems during operational use and provide expert advice for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong background in delivering and supporting IT infrastructure in an industrial environment.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural, multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to take ownership and act proactively on project tasks.
