IT Sales Director – Public Sector

About the role

Lenovo is seeking an experienced IT Sales Director to lead business development for its public‑sector customers in Singapore. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building relationships with senior decision‑makers and delivering tailored technology solutions that align with Lenovo’s AI‑enabled portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan targeting Singapore ministries and public agencies.
• Identify high‑value accounts, pursue new opportunities and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Build and nurture relationships with C‑suite executives and key decision‑makers at target organisations.
• Communicate Lenovo’s service and product offerings to align with client needs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and deliver customised solutions.
• Achieve or exceed revenue targets and provide regular performance updates to leadership.
• Monitor industry trends, regulations and competitive landscape to inform strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Security clearance required for public‑sector projects.
• 10‑15 years of business development or sales experience with a proven record of exceeding targets.
• Deep knowledge of the Singapore public sector and an established network of contacts.
• Demonstrated ability to engage C‑suite executives and negotiate complex deals.
• Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills.
