IT Support Analyst – Trade Support

About the role

The IT Support Analyst (Trade Support) will serve as the primary point of contact between our trading operations and external network and infrastructure vendors. Working in a fast‑paced financial environment, you will ensure the health of our systems, provide user assistance for the Flux trading platform and support end‑user devices across multiple shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main liaison with external network and infrastructure vendors.
• Monitor network and system health, manage incident response and escalation.
• Maintain server environments, including hardware oversight and system configuration.
• Execute scheduled maintenance activities such as backups, patch management and updates.
• Provide user support for the Flux trading system, handling access setup and troubleshooting.
• Deliver technical support for end‑user devices, covering deployment, upgrades and issue resolution.
• Lead coordination of complex technical problem resolution across internal teams and third parties.
• Implement infrastructure improvements and optimisation initiatives.
• Produce and maintain IT documentation, operational procedures and governance standards.
• Conduct security reviews and support the implementation of protective controls.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Experience or exposure to financial services, trading or other fast‑paced operational environments is advantageous.
• Willingness to work a rotating 9‑hour shift schedule between 9:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (functions, data analysis, reporting, spreadsheet management).
• Strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Server hardware oversight and system configuration.
• Backup, patch and update management.
• User support for trading applications (Flux) and end‑user device deployment.
• Security review processes and implementation of protective controls.
