IT Support Engineer

About the role

The IT Support Engineer will provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to Satair employees, ensuring a stable and secure PC environment. The role involves handling incidents, service requests, and major incidents while collaborating with internal service desks and infrastructure teams.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve user technical problems promptly and maintain a stable PC environment.
• Coordinate major incidents, communicate status, and drive resolution.
• Assist Infrastructure & Operations teams on hands‑on tasks.
• Procure IT equipment, manage asset registers, and ensure compliance with asset‑life‑cycle processes.
• Perform IAM activities, manage software licences, and keep software composition up to date.
• Monitor automated jobs, hardware interfaces, and peripheral equipment such as printers.
• Maintain PC security, including virus checks, disk encryption, and access control.
• Document procedures, create knowledge articles, and contribute to IT projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or at least one year of IT support experience.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Broad understanding of hardware, software, networking, and communications.

Required skills

• Windows PC support and hardware troubleshooting.
• Network basics – DHCP and DNS.
• Printer troubleshooting and print management.
• IT asset life‑cycle management (CMDB).
• Knowledge article creation and documentation.
• ITIL Foundation practices.
