About the role
The IT Support Engineer will provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to Satair employees, ensuring a stable and secure PC environment. The role involves handling incidents, service requests, and major incidents while collaborating with internal service desks and infrastructure teams.
Key responsibilities
- Resolve user technical problems promptly and maintain a stable PC environment.
- Coordinate major incidents, communicate status, and drive resolution.
- Assist Infrastructure & Operations teams on hands‑on tasks.
- Procure IT equipment, manage asset registers, and ensure compliance with asset‑life‑cycle processes.
- Perform IAM activities, manage software licences, and keep software composition up to date.
- Monitor automated jobs, hardware interfaces, and peripheral equipment such as printers.
- Maintain PC security, including virus checks, disk encryption, and access control.
- Document procedures, create knowledge articles, and contribute to IT projects.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or at least one year of IT support experience.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Broad understanding of hardware, software, networking, and communications.
Required skills
- Windows PC support and hardware troubleshooting.
- Network basics – DHCP and DNS.
- Printer troubleshooting and print management.
- IT asset life‑cycle management (CMDB).
- Knowledge article creation and documentation.
- ITIL Foundation practices.
