IT Support Specialist

About the role

The IT Support Specialist ensures the smooth operation of internal IT systems and provides technical assistance to end users. This role involves hardware and software maintenance, system administration, and collaboration with global IT teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain end‑user devices and peripherals.
• Provide first‑line and second‑line support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Administer user accounts, access rights, and system configurations.
• Monitor system performance, backups, and security status.
• Respond to user inquiries via ticketing systems or direct communication.
• Maintain knowledge‑base documentation and share solutions.
• Coordinate with global IT teams on infrastructure tasks.
• Assist in IT asset management and procurement processes.
• Support conferencing, multimedia, telephony, and connectivity equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on servers and network components when required.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT support, service delivery, system administration, or infrastructure management.
• Experience with IT asset lifecycle management, software updates, and patch management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with clear technical communication.
