IT Support Specialist – Modern Workplace

About the role

Barentz Asia Pacific is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join its Modern Workplace team. You will provide end‑user support across the region, using a range of Microsoft SaaS solutions and an ITSM tool to resolve requests efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line and advanced support for end users via the ITSM platform.
• Translate simple user requests into higher‑level solutions and resolve issues systematically.
• Collaborate with global teams to implement solutions, standardise infrastructure and optimise business processes.
• Deploy, configure and manage workplace devices, ensuring Windows 10/11 operating systems are maintained.
• Work with System and Network Engineers on infrastructure and networking topics.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, standards and knowledge‑management practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Exchange, Teams and Azure services.
• Familiarity with Windows Server and basic networking concepts.
• Understanding of ITSM processes; ITIL 4 Foundation certification is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with global and local engineering teams.
