IT/OT Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an IT/OT Cyber Security Engineer to support digital transformation initiatives in a manufacturing environment. The role ensures reliable, secure, and compliant site infrastructure while driving IT/OT convergence.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and digital teams to define infrastructure requirements and design technical solutions.
• Coordinate deployment and documentation of on‑premise systems, shared platforms, and applications.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of server rooms, technical rooms, LAN/Wi‑Fi networks, storage and backup/restore processes.
• Oversee lifecycle management, upgrades, and continuous improvement of infrastructure.
• Act as local escalation point for global teams during incidents and support requests.
• Identify risks, propose improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity processes, including risk, patch, and vulnerability management.
• Monitor cybersecurity operations, respond to incidents, and maintain network segmentation and firewall rules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure projects and operations.
• Experience in manufacturing, healthcare or pharmaceutical environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with computerized systems validation, laboratory systems, SCADA or IoT/IIoT solutions.
